As a certified divorce coach and a divorce and custody ally, Susan Shofer has helped many women and men navigate the troubled waters of family breakup by sharing her own organized and pragmatic approach to the divorce process. 

Susan’s Education and Professional Career

Susan has a Master’s Degree in Business from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Maryland. She has over twenty years of experience as an agency licensed private investigator with a specialty in Fraud. Susan holds a Certified Divorce Coach designation. She has served on several executive boards and committees regarding children issues.

Susan’s  professional experience as a Divorce Coach, personal experience with Parental Alienation along with her years experience as a private investigator that includes hundreds of hours of court testifying, provides a unique backdrop to help her clients before, during and after divorce.

Triumphs and Achievements

Susan successfully defied her own contentious divorce and post-divorce custody battle that was strife with parental alienation. Despite the long arduous and painful journey, she has a wonderful relationship with her children and has settled into an amicable relationship with her former spouse.

Susan is a single mother to two grown children. She is an author, divorce coach, parental alienation syndrome specialist and public speaker. She is a captivating storyteller whose quick wit and sense of humor, alongside a positive attitude, levels the divorce process no matter how bleak it may appear.
